Iran is currently disconnected from the SWIFT interbank data transmission system. Instead, the country operates its own electronic banking payment system featuring domestic cards that are exclusively usable for transactions within Iran.

Travel debit card. The card is valid for a duration of 1 month to 1 year (the cost remains unchanged). After the expiration date, the card will become invalid. You can transfer up to 100,000,000 IRR per day to another card, but this can only be done to a card from the same bank. The maximum amount that can be transferred to the card over time is 10,000 USD.

All information regarding transactions, card balance, and fund movements will be sent to the Iranian SIM card included with the debit card.
