The desert is located near the city of Kashan in Isfahan Province. In order to visit it, you need to head to the north-western side of the city. A day trip to Abouzeid Abad Desert is sufficient, but if you have more time, there are other attractions nearby that you can explore.

The main reason why many tourists visit Abouzeid Abad Desert is because of the soft golden sand dunes and peaceful atmosphere of the desert.
