Arrival in Tehran, sightseeing tour, flight to Shiraz

The guide will meet you at the airport and our journey through Iran will begin with a visit to the tomb of Imam Khomeini. The impressive complex is the first thing you encounter on the way from Imam Khomeini Airport to Tehran. The tomb of the father of the Islamic Revolution is the starting point in understanding the history of modern Iran and the role of the revolution in the fate of three generations of the Iranian people. This monument is not included in the list of official ones, but it is the staging ground in understanding the official ideology of modern Iran.

The Golestan Palace Complex will take us back to 18th-19th century Persia when the Qajar dynasty reigned. Traditional elements of oriental architecture bodgiras, eivans covered with bright, hand-painted ceramics in traditional patterns are unexpectedly intertwined with European scenes and attributes of the European way of life, which indicates the fashion for European lifestyle in the ruling circles of the Qajar dynasty.

Flight to Shiraz in the evening.
