In 1320 AH (1281 AH), Hossein Khan Moin al-Ra'aya, the grandfather of the contemporary poet Rahim Moin Kermanshahi, constructed the Husseiniyeh section of the Moun al-Mulk Tekyyah. This was done to hold the Ta'ziyyah ceremonies and mourn the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (AS), commemorating the incident of Karbala in the city of Kermanshah. The Husseiniyeh was inaugurated in 1282.

In 1288 AH, a group of constitutionalists bombed this exquisite structure, which was a gem in western Iran, resulting in its destruction and burning. Following these events and the assassination of Hossein Khan Moin al-Ra'aya, the reconstruction of the Tekyyah was delayed for a long time. Eventually, in 1320 AH, Mirza Hassan Khan Moun al-Mulk bought the Husseiniyeh from his brothers and began its restoration.

In 1326, Hassan Khan purchased the building adjacent to the Husseiniyeh and constructed the Zeinabiyeh and Abbasiyeh sections to accommodate mourners. That same year, he dedicated the Tekyyah to hold religious ceremonies and mourn the infallible Imams. He sent 20 copies of the endowment letter to scholars in Najaf, Qom, and Kermanshah, as well as to the Moeini family. The deputy al-Molk passed away in 1327 and was buried in the Zeinabiyeh section of the Tekyyah.

Towards the end of Hassan Khan's life, the transition from the Qajar government to the Pahlavi dynasty, along with the difficult economic situation, caused the building to deteriorate. In response, Seyyed Mohammad Meybodi and Agha Sheikh Mohammad Hadi Jalili suggested converting the Abbasiyeh section into a school of Islamic sciences to prevent further destruction, allowing the generated revenues to be used for repairs. As a result, the Abbasiyeh functioned as a school for 30 years.

In 1973, the Tekyeh of Moun al-Mulk was handed over to the Department of Culture and Arts and registered as one of the national monuments of Iran.
