Our routes and advantages

Our group tours to Iran are designed by our international team, featuring professional historians, Orientalists, and the best guides in Iran.

Our series of group and private tours across Iran offers you three of the most popular itineraries:

  • The classic route through Iran covers the country’s main cities and landmarks. Over seven day of the journey, we will visit Tehran, Kashan, Isfahan, and Shiraz. The itinerary includes a visit to Persepolis, an exploration of Iran’s medieval architecture, a photoshoot at the Nasir al-Mulk Mosque, visits to the houses of Iranian merchants and caravanserai bathhouses, strolls through the alleys of Kashan, and the bridges of Isfahan. We will taste traditional Iranian cuisine and enjoy Eastern sweets, experience the unique flavour of saffron ice cream, and be sure to select a memorable souvenir from a Persian bazaar to capture our journey.

  • An 11-day tour of the Persian Gulf islands includes the classic itinerary along with visits to three islands: Qeshm, Hormuz, and Hengam. We will take a boat to Hengam Island through a dolphin bay, sample the simple island cuisine, including seafood samosas, and enjoy a boat ride through the mangrove forests and spend a day on a secluded wild beach on Hengam Island. On Qeshm Island, we’ll walk through the Valley of Stars, enjoy the Martian landscapes of Hormuz Island, and visit the ruins of a Portuguese fortress, built during the early struggles of European powers over trade routes and colonies.
  • The Capitals of Lost Civilisations programme for 14 days, is an expedition that partly ventures off the typical tourist trails. The journey begins with the ruins of Ecbatana, the capital of Media. We will visit the majestic ziggurats of the Elamite empire, explore the ancient excavations of Susa, and see the tomb of the Prophet Daniel, who foretold the downfall of King Belshazzar’s kingdom. In Hamadan, we will encounter tangible evidence of the Old Testament story of Esther and Mordecai and visit the tomb of Avicenna. A stop at Mount Behistun will reveal the site where Darius I legitimised his reign, leaving a cuneiform inscription for contemporaries and future generations in Old Persian, Akkadian, and Babylonian. The programme concludes with the classic itinerary in Tehran.

We aim to make our tours of Iran more than just an exciting journey — they are a series of on-site lectures offering an immersive experience into the history and culture of ancient civilisations, medieval Persia, and modern Iran.
