Hooman Boutique Hotel, former house of Yazd’s first gold merchant, located in the historic heart of Yazd, started functioning in 2018 after an extensive restoration.

The hotel covers an area of 2,000 square meters and has 22 guest rooms, making it a great accommodation option for travellers from all over the world. There are traditional blue pools, verandas, and beautiful palm trees in the inner courtyard where you can escape from the hustle and bustle of modern life and find peace and tranquility. Another unique feature of the hotel is a traditional underground water channel, used for cooling the space during Yazd’s hot summers.

This mosque is known for its exquisite tile work, picturesque plaster work, fascinating dome-chamber, beautiful courtyard, and towering minarets that are about 52 meters high, representing the Azari style of Persian architecture

Amir Chakhmaq Complex is located 750 metres from the hotel, at the centre of the historic city. This square is surrounded by popular attractions, including a stunning mosque, a mausoleum, and a traditional bazaar, offering a glimpse into Yazd's rich cultural heritage. These structures were originally built during the Timurid era. It’s a good place for social gatherings where you will be able to find public baths, copper statues, fountains, and buy traditional handmade goods.

After walking for 13 minutes, you will reach Alexander’s Prison named after Alexander the Great. The complex includes a centuries-old building with a beautiful dome made of bricks and decorated with azure and golden plaster, a circular, brick-lined pit, a deep well in the middle of an old courtyard. Today this construction serves as an Ethnographic Museum.  

Zoroastrian Fire Temple is a 7-minute drive away. This temple, made of bricks, is located in the middle of a green courtyard. You can also see the Faravahar, one of the sacred symbols of Zoroastrianism, at the entrance. There, you can learn about the Zoroastrian religion and traditions, and see the sacred fire that has been burning for more than 1,500 years.

It will take the same amount of time to get to Dowlat Abad Garden, which is 2.8 km from the hotel. This traditional Persian Garden is a UNESCO World Heritage site, known for its symmetrical design, endless array of greenery, and the tallest wind tower in Yazd, a captivating structure attracting visitors to the garden's summer house.

An 18-minute drive away you can find one of Yazd's famous landmarks, the Tower of Silence. By visiting this circular structure you can learn about ancient beliefs and unique funerary traditions related to the fact that death and the afterlife have a special meaning in Zoroastrian religion.
