Tehran Tour

You will start your first day with a visit to the Golestan Palace, also known as the "Rose Garden Palace". This architectural masterpiece from the Qajar era (18th and 20th centuries) attracts tourists from all over the world. It is a testament to the exquisite works of Muslim sculptors and painters. The museum's collections include a variety of ceramic, stone, and metal artefacts created in different time periods, as well as antique clothing and musical instruments. It is also worth noting that this palace is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

After lunch, you will head to Azadi Tower, which is located at the centre of the vast Azadi square along the main road leading from Imam Khomeini International Airport to the capital. The tower was built to commemorate the 2,500th anniversary of Persian statehood. Its design was created by Hossein Amanat and chosen as a result of a competition. The architect's idea was to create an arch that would represent hands joined in prayer.
