The museum showcases the traditions of Kurdish, Lor, Lak, Turk, and Persian communities through:

Housed in the Abbasieh section of Tekiyeh Moaven al-Molk — a Qajar-era religious structure — the museum benefits from its stunning surroundings:

Originally part of a religious complex with three sections — Hosseinieh, Zeinabieh, and Abbasieh — the museum was repurposed to preserve and celebrate the region’s rich heritage. The archaeological section is located on the first floor, while the anthropology exhibits occupy the second.
