The Botanical Garden and Bird Garden

The Botanical Garden serves as a habitat and breeding ground for over a hundred plant species, including ficus benjamina, palm trees, eucalyptus, temple fig, acacia and Arabian acacia, tecoma, several species of cacti, cyanophyllum, and more. In addition, it houses an exotic collection of birds, with over 50 species from six continents: Asia, Africa, Europe, the Americas, Australia, and even Antarctica. Among the diverse birdlife found in the park are ostriches, macaws, pelicans, peacocks, storks, swans, flamingos, and penguins. A distinctive feature of the park is its commitment to preserving the natural environment, with some bird species allowed to roam freely outside cages.

The Bird Garden, established in 1960, forms part of the Kish Dolphinarium Complex, situated in the southeast of the island. This complex is the only dolphin park in Iran, hosting various shows and attractions. The Bird Garden is divided into two sections. In the first section, birds are housed in enclosures. In the second, they move freely in an open area designed to resemble a natural forest habitat. You can visit the garden and dolphinarium according to the following schedule:

Bird Garden: 18:00 – 20:00
Dolphinarium: 16:00 – 20:00
