Radkan Tower, located in Khorasan Razavi Province, Iran, is a 13th-century cylindrical tower known for its astronomical significance. Designed by the renowned Persian scientist Khaja Nasir al-Din Tusi, it served as an astronomical observatory and helped determine the vernal equinox and the start of the Persian New Year. The tower's unique structure includes a 12-sided base, 36 semicircular columns, and a conical dome.

Radkan Tower was designed to determine the first day of all seasons and leap years. The tower's 12-sided base is topped with 36 semicircular columns, leading to a conical dome. It stands on a hillock near the village of Radkan, about 80 kilometers from Mashhad.

Khaja Nasir al-Din Tusi, a prominent Persian astronomer and mathematician, is credited with its design. The tower is considered a testament to the advanced scientific knowledge and architectural skills of the era. While primarily recognized for its astronomical function, some historical accounts suggest it may also be the tomb of Amir Arghun of the Mongols, though this is debated.
